Gorgeous Edwardian opera coat! Done in a matte black silk with ruching/gathering on the smocked collar. Stiffer black silk and lace is also on the collar. Four rosettes with hook and eyes under to secure. The bottom of the coat is open and there is so much fabric because of all the gathers. HUGE sleeves with banding at wrists. Fully lined in LUXE ivory silk satin. A true wearable piece of history!

Condition: Excellent Vintage: For a garment of this age there is very, very minor condition notes: Some pink and yellow color transfer to the inside of the edge, not seen when worn. SUPER faint color shift spotting on the front where is just looks a little darker, really only noticeable upon VERY CLOSE inspection!
