Heavily beaded 1960's gown! Done in a black velvet on the bodice with rounded neckline and chocolate silk on the HEAVY skirt. The silk is done in a gold brocade and embellished with HUGE rhinestone gems in green, red and gold studs. There is also coral and green sequins. We cannot begin to describe the beauty of this design! Wide pink attached belt with rose at the high waist. Skirt has pockets. Fully lined in black silk. Back zipper with snaps that hide it below the waist. Demi-Couture at its best! Weighs 4.5 lbs.
While there is no labels on this beauty, we did find out it was sold at the high end store in Beverly Hills, Amelia Gray. The store carried Oscar de la Renta, Sarmi, Malcolm Starr and Galanos. We think this could likely be a Sarmi based on the 1970 Vogue that is added to the listing.
