Darling 1950's Tina Leser dress done in a rich red and gold cotton paisley print. The bodice has the paisley running horizontally while the skirt is angled. Faux sarong style on the skirt with attached short panel at the waist. Straps button in the back. Inner waistband, yellow cotton lining on the bodice. Skirt is unlined. Side metal zipper.
The copy on the 1959 newspaper reads: "Philadelphia born Tina Leser has spent her lifetime exploring every nook and cranny of the world for beautiful fabrics and design ideas indigenous to their origin. One of her most unusual talents is her ability to adapt unusual fabrics into clothes suitable for the American scene and at the same time keepng the native feeling.
